As an Engineering Manager, you will lead engineering teams while taking full responsibility for endto-end delivery of critical initiatives. You combine technical depth with strong people management and delivery skills, ensuring that our products are scalable, secure, and compliant with fintech industry standards.

What You Will Do
  • Lead and grow the engineering team, mentoring and supporting their professional development.
  • Ensure technical excellence through code quality, security, and compliance with fintech regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
  • Create a culture of ownership and collaboration within your team.
  • Run regular 1:1s with team members, providing clear feedback, guidance, and coaching to support growth and address challenges.
  • Conduct performance assessments, set goals, and create development plans that align individual contributions with team and company objectives.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of initiatives, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are met.
  • Work with Product and Project Managers to define priorities, roadmaps, and deliverables.
  • Track delivery metrics, anticipate risks, remove blockers, and balance trade-offs.
  • Act as the main engineering point of contact for stakeholders, translating technical details into clear business terms.
  • Align engineering efforts with company goals and customer outcomes.
  • Embed agile practices to improve predictability and speed of delivery.
  • Champion automation, CI/CD, and DevOps culture to drive efficiency.
  • Lead post-mortems and retrospectives, ensuring continuous learning performance improvements and higher delivery efficiency.

What We're Looking For
  • Have 7+ years of software engineering experience and at least 3+ years in an engineering management role.
  • 5+ years of experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Strong experience in delivery management, ideally within fintech, banking, or payments.
  • Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and have applied agile methodologies at scale.
  • Deep technical foundation (e.g. .NET, APIs, microservices, cloud-native systems).
  • Strong people leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, coaching, and growing engineers.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving can make trade-offs to ensure delivery success.
