Project Manager

Full Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects throughout all its phases, such as initiating, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, closing. You’ll play a critical role in the implementation of key initiatives for our business, by effectively collaborating with internal teams, leading and coordinating teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly solutions for the Fintech industry. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What You Will Do
  • Guide and coach the Scrum team in the adoption of Agile frameworks’ practices and values; assist Product manager in maximizing the value of product backlog;  
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies;
  • Provide progress report on roadmap, project and team performance. Communicate progress report to the team, internal and external stakeholders on regular basis, ensuring adequate communication between project collaborators;
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks. Develop contingency plans to address unexpected issues, prepare Risk log;
  • Strongly collaborate with team leads in managing and maintaining product, technical backlog, sprint, and issue backlogs;
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are clearly communicated and understood by all parties;
  • Ensure all project initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and of high quality. Set up quality management process and follow up on progress;
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation;
  • Resources coordination and management for the flawless execution of the project by ensuring effective communication within team;
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel;
  • Identify improvement areas within the project and implement best practices and relevant techniques for the optimal delivery of the project;
  • Carry out all other related tasks requested by Management.

What We're Looking For
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in Information Technologies, Software Engineering or related field of study with proven ability to deliver results on large-scale projects is required;
  • Excellent management and leadership skills;
  • Team coaching and mentoring skills;
  • Solid skills and knowledge of prioritization, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to persuasively advocate moderator in distributed cross-functional teams, agendas to staff, managerial, and executive stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude;
  • Ability to analyze data and reports to identify issues and develop recommended courses of action in a proactive fashion;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to help influence and work with others collaboratively and constructively;
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques;
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Attentive to details; capable of detecting hidden problems and prioritizing, tracking, and managing to resolve multiple issues;
  • Understanding of waterfall project management practices;
  • Demonstrated understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and change management processes within Agile contexts.
